"The stay was ok as it was just for one night, but when we arrived in the room we had no toilet roll and one of the towels had dirt marks on and it hadn't even been used by us. The bed wasn't comfortable each time you moved it creaked. Whilst it was ok for one night stay, wouldn't recommend for anything longer. No staff present so cannot even ask for any toiletries or even clean towels. "

"I stay in a lot of hotels and I must say that this hotel is tired and in need of a makeover. The mattress on the bed was on its last legs you could feel every spring in it and when you sat on it you could feel the frame underneath. The paintwork behind the door handles needed cleaning as did the stair carpets. The food was good though and they had a five start food rating. I was the only person staying there on the one night and I don’t know if that is indicative. Would I stay there again? No I would not there are plenty of other hotels in the town to choose from "
