We were given an accessible room, even though I had not booked that, and when we asked if it was possible to switch we were given a multitude of reasons why we shouldn’t. "Room was clean and tidy. Could have done with more pillows but that was a personal preference and could have been addressed if I had asked for more so no reflection on the hotel. Breakfast was good, hot and plenty of choice. Items were replenished quickly and staff very efficient. Only complaint would be that there was not always someone at the welcome desk when assistance was required but when there was someone they were very helpful."

"The staff were lovely and the location was super convenient. The hotel has been knocked about - being next to the rugby stadium may contribute to high wear and tear - but everything in my room was clean and fine and comfortable. My only real complaint would be that the WiFi in the room was terrible and I had to go to the lobby to get work done. Great bath"

"We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful stay we had at Tanes Hotel this weekend! Considering the competitive price, the room was large and spacious. It was kitted out with everything you could need for a short stay, towels, extra blankets, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, etc. The bedroom and bathroom were also pristinely cleaned. "We arrived quite late, around 9pm so parking was a little challenging initially. Check in was efficient and staff on reception were amazing and very welcoming! Room decor was a little tired but comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant wasn’t great and quite pricey but the ladies serving were receptive to our feedback so a minor point. Again staff in the Restraunt were very attentive in the evenings and at breakfast. I would recommend the hotel for its central location for the City...
