"We had a great 6-night stay at the Waterloo. The room was nice and clean, with a large window overlooking the greenery that could be opened wide for fresh air. The beds were comfortable, and we really liked the breakfast, especially the items made to order. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a very good location for exploring Snowdonia, and it was nice to come back to a quiet and comfortable hotel after a day out. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again."

"Absolutely everything was wonderful. The room was lovely - the bed linens were so fresh and comfortable. The sheets smelled like they were line dried. Amazingly comfortable. "The hotel is in an ideal position at the edge of the village. It has ample parking. The rooms are well maintained although the single room is small. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast has a good variety and caters for most diets. The bar area was comfortable and clean and although prices were on the high side there was a good selection of quality drinks. I would recommend this hotel and will probably stay there again"

"This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay. Lovely decor on the inside like an old coach house, would highly recommend staying here"

"Well first of all the staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. For me the location was excellent with plenty of places to walk, multiple supermarkets within easy walking distance and several place to order good food. Speaking of food, the Beef and Guinness pie served here was excellent. One thing, the car navigation system in the car I leased (a VW Golf Hybrid 8 SE from Europcar) not only couldn't locate the place, in fact it couldn't find Station street in Bangor at all (this has happened several times) so use Google maps for the last 5 miles of your trip as it knows exactly where this Pub is. I'd stay there again."
