"Really nice grounds and private lodges. Hot tub was lovely. The lodge could have been cleaner - the blinds were dirty, there was dust on the light shades and dirt around the edges of the rooms. The boiler worked but it didn’t seem to warm up the main living area. We ended up putting the oven on and leaving the door open. The oven was electric (not fan) and the element was at the top so it burnt food before cooking it. Rich, the out of hours member of staff was extremely helpful and went out of...

"David and Elvira are fantastic hosts who ensure that your stay is very personal. The room we stayed in was very clean and perfect and had everything that we needed e.g tea, coffee and luxury bath products. The breakfast was excellent - couldn't eat everything as the portions were so large. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back!"

Given a number for a keysafe outside the room. Heating turned off, 6 degrees celcius outside, 9 degrees celcius in the room. Absolute joke. Luckily saw a small electric heater behind the abandoned reception that we were able to "borrow" overnight, and return before checkout. Hardly any toilet paper in room either, so had to go to the...
