"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"We were so impressed by this hotel. We only paid around £60 and had a lovely clean, modern room with tea and coffee making facilities. The only negative I can think of is that the carpet is a bit threadbare in the corridors but that made no difference to our experience. We were lucky to have a view over the lovely marina. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Free parking very close by and bars and restaurants also very close. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am just about to book...

"Great location, however the idea of being awoken earlier than anticipated by faulty air conditioning. This triggered the in room gas leak detection alarm, which the on site staff responded to quickly by turning the air conditioning unit off. Silenced the alarm, but turned a/c off, and we were the up w hours earlier than anticipated for early departure, which was the reason for staying close by. Appreciate these things happen and grateful for alarm, however presume ac had not been serviced."

"A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. Had it been better weather when we were there we would have loved sitting out on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the garden. I'm very very fussy about hotels and...

"Thoughtful, friendly receptionists, cheerful serving staff, room had a beautiful view and was clean. No complaints other than old cobwebs in the swimming pool windows and pool was crowded and noisy due to kids swimming lessons, which cut the useable area of pool to half"

"One of times I booked the mirror and surfaces was dirty like the cleaner was dirty. Also me and my partner got banned without a reason and when we booked following time they refused to provide service or provide explanation. Strange people"

"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other.
