Ok I stay at a lot of hotels in that street. What’s good about this one is they have a little breakfast included. The staff was very rude though. Saw me coming in and left reception, on his mobile. Came back as I called him and fussed about my signature, “I won’t accept a scribble, can you do your signature properly”. I’m nearly 50. My signature is what it is. I had to show my drivers licence picture of my signature for him to accept it. The room was in the basement and was super noisy. Bathroom light kept flickering. WiFi was awful in the basement,

Good location ,on top of places to eat and drink. Room was nice and clean, downside for me was quite noisy rooms around you doors bang quite loud when people come back at night also the room above had the fan on all night and it just seemed to hum down the wall all night.

This was my first stay at this property, and immediately I saw how inaccessible it was. Stairs everywhere with no ramps or lifts, staff that are quite unapproachable, and the simple fact that accommodation is spread between different buildings (something I did not realise when I booked). Security was great, though I recognised the interiors were incredibly dated and facilities were barely equipped (eg: enough milk for one tea, no towel rail in the bathroom, bin bags that were clearly repurposed shopping bags). I also noticed that there was a landline which was not connected and had no way of being connected, and the shower was both faulty and mislabelled resulting in a couple of near injuries. I loved, however, that there was a wall-mounted fan close to the bed! In terms of the area surrounding the property, there isn’t much of a view. At half past 4 in the morning, I was awoken abruptly by loading vans being incredibly noisy outside. Roads are typical for near-central London, and thankfully the central building for breakfast, check-in/out (etc) was very close by. Speaking of breakfast, the offering was decent if could find it! Pity the staff weren’t more approachable. While many of the faults outlined above did not directly impact my specific stay, it says a lot about the care and attention given to the properties and is important for people to know before booking. My property was a roughly decent place to sleep but took “budget-friendly” to its most extreme meaning.

We are given room outside hotel in a building where there was no service, no phone working, we have to cross the road to go for any problem or help or breakfast, hallway full of smell as well too much smoke of weed and other stuff in the building? People smoking and drunk sitting on stairways no monitoring, feel like haunted place also very warm

The only thing I can say good about this hotel is the location, it is 2 blocks from Paddington Station and the Hop-On-Off Bus Tour stop. There are plenty of stores and restaurants around this hotel. The hotel it self is not good at all. The lift (elevator) only goes to a few rooms. Most of the rooms are by stairs only, there is even another building that they have some rooms in with no lift at all. The front desk persons don't pay attention to the guests at all, they are either sleeping or watching their computers. They also don't always have change to break a 20 pound note when you want to buy one of their 1.50 cokes. So I don't know how they can do currency exchange. I also asked them if they could tell me anything about any of the tours or about car service, all they could do is use their phones and look it up on Google, so I didn't try to purchase anything through them. The room themselves are small, and cramped, the water is barely warm at its bests. The room I had didn't even have an air conditioner, only a fan, luckily it wasn't hot when I stayed there. The breakfast is down a steep set of stairs, and is minimum at best, there is slice ham, chicken and 2 types of cheese, French croissants, cereal yogurt, and milk that is just left out. Looked like they had a lady that did toast on a slow roasting oven, they also had coffee and maybe tea, no juices at all. So what they call a continental breakfast isn't one at all.

This was a great stay. The location was excellent and very near the tube station. Lots of good eating and drinking places near by. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the free breakfast was a surprise and welcomed. Decor and Hotel, a little dated, but all in all, fantastic value for money, I will be back.
