Great location. Clean room. Safe and walkable area, close to a grocery store, dining options around the neighborhood, transportation access to tube or bus. My plane departure from (LHR- Heathrow) and by tube you get directly to the airport saving time and money. Wonderful

I love this little gem. Very friendly and helpful staff. The standard is better than most Best Western Hotels. It is a 10 minute walk to Hammersmith and close to Tesco and restaurants. The rooms are always if good standard. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the stairs to the top floor were hard on my knees. Next time I will specify a room lower down. But surprisingly quiet room for being on Shepherd's Bush Road. Will definitely come back.

We liked the location and the cost. It was near Hammersmith Metro Station (10 minute walk at most) and the price was great.

I had a great stay at the Star Hotel. My room was very clean and had everything that I needed. My room was at the back so was quite quiet. The location is very convenient and a short walk to a few different tube stations and many bus stops. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great stay.

This is a charming, old building that's been converted to a hotel, with rooms of various sizes and shapes. Do be aware there's no elevator so you'll probably have to climb stairs, and the shower in our room was REALLY small. Other than that, it was great. About a 10 minute walk to the Hammersmith Underground station.

Great find, extremely clean and a lovely welcome. I stayed in room 33 to the top front of the building, so the road noise was a little loud. However the place was spotless, comfortable and for the money I was extremely happy. I would stay again, but if ask for a different room.

Friendly staff and clean property- but at night even a small talk at a very low voice can be heard - they should put a sign that everyone exercise caution after 10:00 pm otherwise you wont be able to sleep!

Excelente alojamiento, muy bien ubicado, cerca de centro comerciales, restaurantes y lo mejor de todo a pocas cuadras de la estación de metro con conexión a todos lados. La atención de la recepcionista muy detallista y dedicada. Fui en invierno y el hotel todo el tiempo estuvo con una temperatura agradable. El aseo fue muy completo. Durante mi estadía de 3 noches no tuve ningún inconveniente de ruidos. Sin duda volvería.

Comme on est venu le 31 décembre ils avaient mis une information pour dire que les chambres ne seraient pas nettoyées le 1er. Mais le 2 la salle de bain a été nettoyée mais nos lits n étaient pas fait. C était très bizarre. L hôtel est extrêmement bruyant par contre la chambre était grande et agréable. Le métro est à 10 minutes à pied.

Especialmente en Londres el alojamiento es mucho más costoso que le promedio de las capitales. Agradezco al hotel que nos haya recibido una noche, (el 30 de diciembre no había mucha disponiblidad en TODO Londres). No lo recomiendo si vas con equipaje, ya que de la estación de metro es lejos y fijo debes subir escaleras. La ubicación no es central, pero se encuentran varias cosas alrededor. Es una casa típica londinense, escaleras, sin ascensor, cuartos pequeños, pero lo necesario para tomar una ducha, dormir y descansar. Se escucha mucho el ruido de los pisos de arriba al ser el piso de madera. Aunque no está mal, creo que no repetiría hospedaje allí.

Not bad if you jus need somewhere to just sleep
Room was perfectly clean, very friendly staff, tv worked but shower had no hot water and the sink wasn’t big enough to get the kettle under so had to use a cup to fill it up , a little cramped so the only thing to do in the room is sleep as there’s not much space for anything else , but that’s not a problem for everyone

I had booked this on the basis of the good reviews, as I wanted a budget hotel in London for an overnight during a work trip. I was arriving around 10pm and would be leaving around 8am the following morning so just wanted a safe, quiet place to put my head down. My expectations were low but I actually had to leave the property shortly after arriving and pay for a much more expensive hotel nearby. I was handed a key to the room connected to the reception desk at the entry to the property. It had the signs PRIVATE and NO ADMITTANCE on the door, as quite clearly it was a staff room for reception staff. When I queried why I was not being given an actual hotel room, I was told that I "should have requested that when I booked online." I asked why I needed to request a proper hotel room when booking a hotel room! The woman on reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful, refused to let me speak to the manager (although she called and spoke to him but not in English so I could not understand the conversation). She repeatedly said I could leave. After being continually prompted to go look at the room I did. I could hear every sound in reception as there was a paper thin wall between the room and reception. It was sandwiched between reception, the front door to the property and the street with no noise insulation against any of those areas. There was also an unpleasant sewer like smell. I went back out to hand my key in and the receptionist said "oh good, you're leaving!"
