"I recently stayed at this hotel in London and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the condition of the restroom, there was visible mold on the floor, to the point where we didn’t feel comfortable stepping on it and had to stand on a towel. That alone made the stay feel very unsanitary. When I went to the front desk to clarify about the room, I explained that I had accidentally booked a handicap-accessible room and asked if it would be possible to switch to a different room. While I understand availability can be limited, the front desk staff member responded with noticeable attitude, which made the interaction uncomfortable and unhelpful. Because we were told the hotel was fully booked and given that response, we didn’t even feel comfortable reporting the mold issue afterward. Additionally, when using the shower, the hot water caused the pipes to make loud, strained noises, as if they were struggling, which was concerning and added to the discomfort of the stay. There was also no housekeeping service during our stay, which was unexpected, and the couch in the room had visible stains, further reflecting a lack of cleanliness and upkeep. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and unfriendly customer service made this stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience."
