"after our flight to LAX was cancelled on Sunday, we were forced to find hotel accommodations and a new flight last minute Sunday morning. Five Towns Inn was the cheapest option available. The real reason for our rating was Frank’s ability to get us into an early check in. We are from CA and from about 5:00am to 8:00am we had absolutely nowhere to go in the middle of a city that we did not know. "When spending 465.00 per night, (it was the weekend), I don’t expect to be in a room where the towel rack is falling off the wall and the door frames are chipped and peeling paint. Also the tap water was undrinkable. Way too chlorinated and if we wanted bottled water we had to pay for it. The breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. The furnishings and bedding were also nothing special. I have spent way less money on much nicer accommodations."

"The hotel is well-maintained, attractive and with helpful, friendly staff. However -- most of the reason we rent hotel rooms is for a room with a bed. The mattress in my room was probably the most uncomfortable mattress I've slept on in my adult life, rivaling the crappy mattresses we got in our college dorm rooms. Lumpy and soft, sagging in the center, no support... unacceptable, and outrageous given the price of the room. My two companion travelers, including the one that slept in the other...

"I arrived at the hotel at 1 pm, having called in advance to ask whether they could expedite the check in because I was staying only for one day. They said they would do their best. I waited at the reception within their full view until around 4 pm. My room was ready only after I went up to the desk twice to ask about it, was given the excuse that they were fully booked while several other guests who arrived two hours after me were being checked in.
