"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. "Clean and tidy, hotel rooms and pool area a little bit dated, Wouldn’t say it Was quite 4 * but certainly a pleasant stay and buffet breakfast for £14 was really nice reasonable amount of options and porridge we pre ordered came full to the brim and was delicious. Quite old fashioned almost like being in a time warp, but all in all a nice pleasant stay, pool was nice and quiet when we went and food was decent, bar area not too bad, good value for money, with being so close to the airport, which you can actually walk to from the hotel as well, so nice bonus."

"Overall this hotel is in a great location if you are attending an event at resorts world, and given that I would put up with it again, but I wouldn't stay at this property if I didn't have a need to. My main issue was the bed, even with a mattress topper it was hard. The mattress topper was also too short for the bed, so the pillow sank towards the headboard. Additionally the sheets were too short for the bed and spring free throughout the night. This resulted in me catching a glimpse of the mattress which was covered in black human hairs. There was also screws through the Lino in the floor and bath panel which I find to be rather unhygienic. I had room service, the staff were pleasant, but the food was no better than freezer food. "
