"Ease of access from/to the main highway and shopping areas. Views of lake & snowcapped mountains. Quiet. Morning sounds of birds. Well maintained gardens of eatables and local plants. Furniture and furnishings are right out of designer magazines, and all is coordinated and comfortable. No excess. No clutter. But lots of it and all fits together. Hostess is personable; well-traveled; and proficient in the art of conversation. Days later in our travels we met again with other guests. They said out-of-the-ordinary tips and hints from the hostess about places to see and things to do enhanced their visits."

"There was a little bit of maintenance that would make it more attractive. My wife & I were thinking that the sheets could have been changed once a week, seeing that we were there 2. It was a very well kept place and handy location for the traveling that we did. The staff was very helpful and polite. Thank you for helping make our stay very pleasant."

"This was a nice hotel for our purpose of going from Southern Alaska up to Denali. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s clearly an older hotel and the rooms are very basic but if you are looking for a safe, clean place to stay this is great. Our one big issue was the lack of blackout curtains. Luckily we had eye masks to block out the near constant Alaska In June sunlight. Investing $50 per room in blackout curtains would be a wise investment and would likely increase repeat customers in the summer."

"Parking was good safety good. Resturant was nice$$$.room had nothing but bed table one bedside table one small chair. Noting to keep cold or heat food. Bed was awful sunk in middle and bottom sheet had stain. Door had no double way to lock so kept suitcase in front"

"I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean"
