"The hotel is in a great location, elevator and ac were super. Our room only got cleaned once that week which was not great. Bedding was not changed at all I don't think. Our shower drain let in the smell of sewers which was gross and made the whole room damp. Staff were helpful. Building clean and well maintained."

"Wonderful place just outside Monmartre, the most artistic part of Paris. A newly restored hotel, it has that wonderful mixture of old and new. It’s small and perfect. Very well maintained. My room was quite large. Everything was very clean. It had those dreamy Parisian windows … And they had a bath robe and slippers for me — things that usually 4-star hotels have. "The room itself is great. Very large for Paris. Had a small kitchen area with appliances so you can cook a small meal if you want. The location is also very good, tucked away at the end of a street so it’s quieter than you would expect for the location. The location of the toilet was a bit weird. It’s separated from the rest of the bathroom. The bed was a bit hard and not having AC are the two biggest downsides for me. But if you’re used to that, it’s a great place to stay."

"We stayed here for one night. The staff were very welcoming. Our room was small but met our purpose although some parts could do with some maintenance such as a few broken floor boards and loose plug socket. It was however clean, including the bathroom. We knew the room had no AC but there were 2 good fans in the room and both windows opened fully. It was a nice touch to be able to get a free coffee, tea or juice at anytime. "would strongly discourage anyone—especially families—from staying at Hotel Le Chat Noir. The room itself was disappointing, but the biggest issue was the location. The hotel is surrounded by sex shops, adult stores, strip clubs, and other explicit businesses. We were traveling with our children and had no idea we would be staying in what is essentially the heart of Pigalle’s adult entertainment district. "Room was older, outdated & basic but clean, with great AC, basic breakfast included and in good location. You can definitely hear the people in the rooms next to ours. We stayed overnight since we had a layover in Paris, but if we were to stay longer, we would have spent more money on something more luxurious and bigger."
