The property is well situated on Place de Republique, for sites of interest. Metro station is literally a stones throw, however, double edged sword as we were so close you can feel the vibration of passing trains through the building. Breakfast was standard fare and very fresh. Lots of amenities nearby both on the square and if you have a wander down the nearest roads. Really good for a long weekend.

Location was excellent, lots of places to eat within walking distance. RAFIC, the hotel host was great, kept in good contact and gave us helpful directions to get the right train to the hotel. Hotel was clean, good facilities. Would recommend !

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel has a modest, old-world charm, without feeling stuffy.The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms have all the basics for this class of hotels. There is a hot water kettle with tea and coffee, and the bathroomnoffers hand and body wash (no conditioner or lotion, but then again, i didn't ask for any). The windows keep the street noise out, and the gentle rumbling of the Metro lulled me to sleep in the comfortable bed. There are restaurants, cafes, bakeries and small supermarkets in the area, and the Metro is right outside. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel, room smallish but all I needed. Metro access out the front door, supermarket up the road. Easy to get to sights and halfway between Gare du nord and Gare du Lyon. A few restaurants close by. Would stay again.
