Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. "Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. "This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
