The stay was good but the place burned to the ground on the June 13 2022. We have reached out to the owners/ management about compensation for personal effects destroyed but have heard nothing back.

First I was given a card key and a room number, I went to that room and opened the door and people were already staying in said room. Then I was given a different room, satellite box didn’t work and the AC didn’t blow cold. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Great customer service, room was very clean, and bed was very comfortable. I will be coming back, highly recommend to stay at Best Western if you coming to visit Kilgore, TX.

Front desk service was above amazing Angel checked us in a handled anything we needed. We missed breakfast but 15 minutes and the other receptionist at the front went out of her way to make sure we still got breakfast and offered anything that she still had.

Awful place

This was by far the worst Best Western hotel that we have ever stayed at. The shower has black mold on the ceiling. The floor was old tile and I paid $30.00 extra for a pet room. The breakfast was a joke, the waffle iron was broken, no jelly for the toast and awful dehydrated eggs. The only good thing was the sweet receptionist at 4:00 p.m. We will never stay there again.

The First night got very sick from MOLD in room 119 - got moved to room 111 and woke up super sick from mold. Left at 7 am and did not stay the remaining time reserved. The parking lot is littered with trash. The rooms have cobwebs all over and the mold is seeping through the ceiling and walls. Front desk clerk yelled at me and told me I was a weirdo, twice. She also told me to pray to god. Horrible customer service. Was told this was 3rd complaint on her. STILL waiting on a refund.

Booked a room in Kilgore Texas, a king family suit. $139. Got to hotel and they had already given our room to someone else and had nothing available for us. What a shame they didn’t try to accommodate somehow!! :( won’t be using them again.

I was informed checking in a couple hours early would be okay -NOPE $20 EXTRA….stated pet friendly- NOPE…$30/night EXTRA, was suppose to be on 1st floor -NOPE. WOMEN were cussing about charges at checkout, will NEVER go back there. Went to Motel 6-no charge for puppy.

Liked having an exterior room door but I also hated it when at 1:30 in the morning a bunch of teenage kids could be heard yelling, drinking alcohol and eating right outside my door gor over half an hour.

Good and bad

This was a nice place to stay! The room was nice, the lady at checkin was nice. The only problem We had was the blatant false advertising. On their web site they offer a full hot breakfast. After checkin she said there is no breakfast at all. We have stayed at many motels during COVID and there are many creative ways to deal with breakfast. This was one of the worst!

Not impressed with this hotel at all. Had a odd moldy smell to it that at first I thought was cigarrete smoke. Nope, just moldy. Room was clean and did have access to the pool but with covid breakfast was out as in not being offered.
