"This is an older hotel that has recently received a makeover so it looks nice on the surface. However the room key quit working. We were unable to reach anyone via phone so we had to leave our stuff at the 7th floor outdoor entrance and make our way back to the desk for service. After waiting in line a while the attendant had trouble getting anyone from maintenance to pick up the radio. He issued new key cards which corrected the problem but we didn't have a confidence that the new keys...

"Great location with many good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate. Shuttle service was very good. The manager, Elizabeth was amazing, she went above and beyond to assist us. Only disappointment was the pool that was very small with one table and only a couple chairs. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again in the future before our cruise again."

"Pictures online are NOT the real representation. Front desk lady was rude on the phone. Carpet is heavily stained. Hallways have a smell that they tried to cover with air freshener that only made it worse. Was charged a $45 early check in fee that wasn’t disclosed on their site. They’re are way better hotels in the area for the same price. Go with them!!!! "

"Good location, very close to universal studio. They offer free cookies during our stay and they provide free shuttle to the universal. Front desk is quick with their services. Very business-like with many conferences."

"My experience was exceptional. This was my first stay at a Hyatt House property. The King Room was very spacious and comfortable (I totally enjoyed the sectional seating and ottoman situated at the window - got my vitamin D before leaving the room). The hotel staff (front desk and service) were extremely helpful and kind. I will absolutely choose Hyatt House for future travel needs."
