"The room itself was just ok. It seems as if cleaning is very rushed. The corners in the room and hallways were quite dusty. The whole place seemed runned down and old but the rooms had newer upgrades. The pool area definitely does not look like the photos. The AC had to run constantly in order to keep the room at 71 degrees and it was pretty loud. The main issue I had is that I reserved a king suite via hotels.com but was given a basic double queen room on arrival. When I mentioned I reserved and paid for a king suite, the employee said there was nothing she could do since there were no king suites available. I’m currently working with hotels.com to be reimbursed for the difference. We chose this specific hotel since it was the only one that offered a shuttle to the Sanford airport and they were accommodating to that. While most staff was kind to our faces, the one that checked us in seemed to be irritated or annoyed when speaking to other guests on the phone. Overall it served its purpose but I wouldn’t stay again if I didn’t have to and I wouldn’t recommend it unless someone really needed the Sanford airport shuttle. "

"Morning staff was lovely, and that’s the only nice thing I have to say…Roaches in one room and disgusting, sticky carpet in the other room (we had 2 rooms). I had to wear shoes the whole time because my feet literally stuck to the floor. Seriously, checked each bed for bugs just in case! If it had not been that we needed desperately to crash for about 7 hours I would have turned around and found another place. All hotels were booked in the area, this was the only one left in a 15 mile radius…now I know why. "

"I travel a lot, and I’ve never been to a place where the people were more friendly. The waitresses in the restaurant felt like my aunties or sisters. They were so kind and you could tell they love their job. The bartender went out of his way to make sure our drinks were refilled and tasted OK. We had some chicken wings and buffalo cauliflower at the bar while we waited to leave for our venue that night. They were delicious. The room was clean the smell throughout the whole hotel was amazing. The lobby was breathtaking when you walked in and it just felt comfortable like I was on a vacation far far away. Definitely downloading the app for Hilton and going to use Hilton going forward. I was blown away by this hotel, and we will be returning every time we go to Orlando. "
