Everything was fine until my shuttle service left me stranded at Universal Studios with my 3-year-old and 10-year-old children. When I contacted the front desk to ask where the shuttle was, I was told the driver had already left because he did not see me. At no point did the driver attempt to call or verify whether I was present before leaving, which is unacceptable—especially considering I was traveling with young children.
After eventually finding alternate transportation back to the hotel, I asked to speak with a manager. The front desk employee, Chanel, stated that she was the manager. I explained the situation and how inconvenient and unsafe it was. Unfortunately, she showed no concern, offered no apology, and simply told me to have a good night after I finished speaking.
Additionally, while showering in the room, I noticed a large bug crawling around the toilet, which raised concerns about cleanliness and sanitation.
This experience demonstrated a complete lack of consideration, accountability, and customer service. Situations like this—especially involving families with young children—should be handled with far more care, urgency, and professionalism.
