"This Hotel is highly overrated. I had to switch rooms because the original room had a strong musty smell with greasy floors like they didnt mop well. The wifi does not work well here, had to mainly rely on my mobile data. Most of the food is subpar. It can get noisy too, but I wasn't surprised about that considering the size of the hotel. The only highlight was the views."

"The pool(s) area had ample space and were always well staffed. The music/dj/mc added a fun and celebratory vibe. Every staff I encountered was friendly and willing to help any way they could especially the room cleaning staff coming to refill waters on the daily. The food was not exceptional but very tasty with so many different options was a plus. We only caught 1 show in the open air theatre and it was top notch ballet folklorico. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future. "

"Family friendly resort, with a nice waterpark for younger kids. Staff is very friendly. Beach area is clean and we were able to find loungers most days. This was our 3rd time here and we noticed a few differences. Resort now uses an app but the activities listed each day don't match what is actually offered and we had trouble finding these. We felt there were less activities and interaction with the entertainment crew, although the evening shows are still very well performed. And if you don't "reserve" a chair by the pool by 7am, it's very hard to find one. We enjoyed the restaurants but found the kids menu to be very limited with only the same 3 options each evening. "

"An excellent family oriented resort with a nice layout and everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff always greet you verbally and with a welcoming gesture, and look to try their best to accommodate any special requests. The pools were a hit with the kids, and space in them was plentiful. Our family has for different rooms, and they were all spacious, had a 4 seat dining set, comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom and shower. Virtually every room in the resort overlooks the inner courtyard and pools, and most will have a peek-a-boo or spectacular view of the ocean. There are 3 natural-gas (no burning embers or smoke!) fire pits on the beach that are lit up in the evening for conversation and watching the free beachside shows. And if you book through Expedia, be sure to take advantage of the perks offered to you by the on site Expedia desk and Concierge. The food is subjective; our family (six adults and three children ages 6 to 1) were all satisfied with the selection and quality... but we were not expecting 5 star quality food at a 4 star resort. My only cons would be that the resort is showing some signs of decay (rusty railings and awnings, worn plumbing fixtures) and that some staff, although friendly, were not very well trained for service. There are signs of some items being updated in stages (some railings have been replaced), but non of the maintenance items posed a danger of any sort in my opinion."
