I booked this resort three months in advance for my birthday getaway and also coordinated accommodations for my four cousins, so I was extremely disappointed when the room I originally selected was not available upon arrival. I specifically paid for an ocean-side view with a king-size bed, but instead my only options were either a king bed facing the inside of the resort or a double-bed ocean view located above the restaurant with an obstructed view.
This resort was chosen based on the online reviews and photos, but the actual experience did not match the expectations that were advertised. The property appeared unkept in several areas, and the restaurant and food options were very limited for a resort stay.
There were also maintenance and room assignment issues during our visit. The toilet in my bathroom leaked throughout the stay, and another reservation in our group specifically requested double beds for four people but was instead given two rooms with king-size beds, creating a very uncomfortable arrangement.
The one bright spot of this experience was our butler, Armando. Armando went above and beyond to assist us, address concerns, and help salvage what could have been a completely ruined birthday trip. His professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness were truly appreciated and made the biggest difference during our stay.
Unfortunately, because of the overall condition of the resort, the room issues, and the lack of proper accommodations, I would not recommend .
