Safari Tentalow in Los Cabos

"I had stayed earlier at Riu Las America in Cancun and I feel this time Riu didn’t really live up to the experience as much as last time. I won’t say it was terrible but it was just a bit off. The restaurants were located very dar away from our room and we had booked the Riu Party room so.. it was a lot of walk back and forth. There were no elevators.. The rooms were very dusty.. to my surprise, they don’t offer shower caps or even body lotions.. Overall the staff was really pretty nice and they also had quiet a few vegetarian options at their buffet restaurants which was great. I would recommend going there with the mindset that you would really have to walk a lot and carry everything you might need as I felt I wasn’t prepared well"

"We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Marquis and it was fantastic. The accommodations were wonderful we had a garden casita and it was very spacious, our bed was super comfortable and the private pool was so relaxing and enjoyable. The staff here are amazing, never once did we have to wait to get another drink and a lot of staff knew us by name right away. Everything we needed to communicate to the hospitality desk was handled quickly as far as requests and they were very helpful with reservations for dinner and excursions etc. We used the spa amenities daily and both of our massages were some of the best we’ve had! Aleck front desk staff in the spa was great, he got to know us right away and always made sure we had fresh drinks delivered while we enjoyed the hot tubs and relaxation deck. The infinity pools were beautiful and pool loungers were super comfortable. We loved that you can stare at the ocean for the most part no matter where you sit. We ate at all the restaurants including the special 6 course wine pairing and didn’t have any complaints. Delicious food and thoughtful service always. Although this was mostly a relaxing vacation on the resort for us we love that downtown Cabo is only 25 min away so it would have been very easy to leave the resort and explore the city. The relaxing atmosphere, the gorgeous views and aesthetic made us so sad to have to leave. We will definitely be back! "

"This property was beautiful, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the beach was not swimable due to tides. I am uncertain if that was temporary or a constant occurrence. A bottle of water cost 15 dollars at the main restaurant in the hotel. Imagine the price for all other menu items, very overpriced. Overall, it was a decent experience."
