Great value for money, staff is very sweet and helpful. Mountain View is gorgeous. Walls are thin though, and you could hear the noise from people next door but experience is amazing

The property is a good base from which to explore the area if you have a car. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety. Beds are somewhat comfy. Access to fridge is available if you ask. Parking is free. Fairly quite at night but rooster’s will get you up in the morning ready for the next day!

Fantastic hotel always welcoming. I hope to stay there many more times. Lovers love ❤️ Complainers our only happy when they do. For only a 3 star hotels I think it offer much more than its rating. The Dining room and panoramic views are a major wow factor.

This is one of those special, out-of-the-way places that makes a vacation fun and unique. The staff was helpful and courteous, the food was tasty, and the views were outstanding. Our room was quaint but tidy, and the grounds were inviting. Best of all, the rate was perfect for our budget. I highly recommend the Alte Hotel to anyone visiting the Algarve region!

Uitzicht is prachtig en het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat maakt goed dat het meubilair echt z'n beste tijd gehad heeft, ook de badkamer zou een opknapbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Prullenbak was kapot en de schuifdeuren maakten mega veel geluid bij het openen en sluiten. Liften ook oud en vrij klein. Maar nogmaals, het personeel verdiend echt een 10 met een griffel!

Charming 3☆ Hotel that provides a lot more than is expected. Staff friendly and helpful. Food fabulous. Views from the dining area rightout to the coast line. An unbeatable vista. Gardens arranged with many seating areas, that offer private cloisters as an alternative to just sitting poolside. The Alte hotel is a secret jewel that I will be visiting again and again. Love it.

Tranquillità in Algarve

Hotel con mobilio un po' datato ma nel complesso molto carino e pulito! Servizio buono ma le strutture esterne tipo il campo da tennis andrebbe ristrutturato. Necessaria la macchina in quanto dista mezz'ora da Albufeira ma la tranquillità del posto ripaga dei km. Buono nel complesso!
