"Loved the hotel. Lovely room and fantastic staff. Great breakfast. Only negative is that parking can be pretty tricky (or at least it was on the Saturday night that I was there). "

"The staff were very helpful and friendly and this made us feel welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean and is on a convenient location being close to the train station and city centre."

"Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. "

"When I'm working in Devon I always stay here. Its perfectly comfy and its has good size rooms the parking is free and plentiful even in a large Van you can park around the rear of hotel. Close to tiverton town centre and supermarkets. Staff are very friendly too. "

"Very good evening meal, food was excellent with a reasonable choice of dishes, we had a sea view which was lovely with a little balcony. Hotel is quite tired, but comfortable and the staff are amazing and a superb location with plenty of parking which you have to pay extra for."

"Lodge was comfortable, albeit slightly cold even with the heaters on. Note, lodge checkout is 10am, not 11am as advertised when booking. Even on check in, the member of staff said 11, but there’s a sign in the lodge saying 10. We checked with staff on our last day after noticing, and this caused a last minute panic and curtailed our time together in the pool. "Sam ( Manager), was very welcoming ,approachable and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The bedroom was immaculate , there were plenty of warm drink provions, soft towels and toiletries provided. Our breakfast foods were fresh& tasty- there was a variety of cereals if you wishes, cooked breakfast, warm and cold drinks. Parking is at the front of the hotel and only £6 per night.
