"It's a fine place for an overnight stay if you have a long layover, or short term stay. My room was pretty small. Short walk to the ocean. I didn't like the dining options, but if you like beach food, there's plenty."

"Taj Vivanta is an oasis in Trivandrum. I had amazing service with personal touches from everyone from the manager, front desk, pool attendant, bartender, restaurant service. All top notch! My suite was spacious and well appointed, wifi was reliable, and the pool was an added luxury."

"Santa Maria is a beautiful gem located right on the ocean. The owners are very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating of their guests. It is very conveniently located near the airport (15 minutes by taxi) and many other attractions Kerala has to offer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some offering ocean views and balconies to enjoy the sunsets and watch the local fishermen haul in their catches of the day. Staff can cook meals upon request and serve lovely juice- highly recommend the cucumber, ginger, lime juice. We are very greatful to the owners for our stay there and would gladly stay again. "

"As we were travelling with a baby, we wanted a room with a kitchen hence we booked Indeevaram. However, kitchen lacks proper utensils. The entire place was infested with ants. We were shocked to find ants inside the baby food items and could trace those back in one of the walls. One thing that we learnt from our trip to Kerala is to never trust the reviews."
