The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is just old and rooms are dingy, not very clean, ripped upholstery and the smell of smoke was worse than an ashtray being right next to you. Very very bad smoke smell

The room had not been vacuumed nor had the hallways. There was some kinda pink pill on the bathroom floor behind the door. There was long hairs on the tub and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The towel and bedspread and sheets had stains. There was a used towel from prior stay in the closet. The hallway had tape on the walls. Room was well ventilated. But cleanliness was left to be desired.

The property is in bad shape. Card key entry doors are unlocked and don’t require a card key. Furniture in the room was falling apart. Linens and towels were old and dingy. Used washcloth still hanging on the shower curtain rod from previous guest. Bathroom sink had hairs from previous guests. Wallpaper was peeling in the room and bathroom. Holes in the bathroom wall where towel rack was repositioned or repaired but not patched. Glass in the bedroom window cracked and weather sealing peeling away or missing. In general, a poorly maintained hotel room especially considering the cost per night,$300. I’m sure if George Strait wasn’t in town giving a concert it might be less.

Not sure how this place has so many 10/10 ratings. Yes, the staff were friendly, but for nearly $300 for one night this place is an absolute dump. Wallpaper is peeling off all the walls, our room had a burnt out square in the carpet, the toilet overflowed onto the floor from just flushing it. Our room also had an overwhelming smell of maple syrup and some of the furniture and the phone had mystery stains on them like they hadn’t been wiped down. This hotel needs a complete overhaul. I travel a lot and am all about giving some grace, but this place is a dump.

The Hot Tub had no light at all. The room was filthy with someone's clothing on the floor still. Bathtub not clean. AC didn't work well. Two separate buildings so have to walk across a parking lot to get to breakfast and hot tub and front desk.

Ashmore use to be a decent place to stay even though it needs upgraded and price was good now they got bought out it's more run down needs updated really bad the bath tub never stopped running water it leaked the whole time bath tub stained didn't have key card they were out had to wait hours before they got them. Really sad i like the place but when you can stay somewhere a lot nicer for the same price it's a no brainer.

They put us in a king bed with twin pull out bed when I reserved a king bed with a king pull out bed. They ended up putting us with a 2 queen which wasn't what I reserved. There was lots of pubic hair on the toiled when we got there. The electronic keys quit working in the hotel and everyone had to have their doors physically unlocked by staff. the bathtub. The hot tub wasn't hot at all.

Severly understaffed and overworked. The poor girl working the front desk was the only employee we saw doing anything, not sure if there is a manager or owner who needs to loosen up the purse strings a bit so they can hire and train properly. She was great, but had to unlock each person's door as the key card machine was down, personally deal with room issues, and had no housekeeping for a couple days. I'm all about cost savings, but not at the employees and customers expense. The room was fine, light bulbs and working wall outlets were hit and miss. Some hallway light bulbs were out, and apparently their painter stopped mid job leaving painters tape all down the rub rails in the hallway. Friendly? Yes Clean? Not nasty.... Maintained facility? Nope Well managed/owned? Laughable Will I stay there again? Nope

This was by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. We left within an hour of checking in. We had 2 rooms and both were DIRTY! There was dirty sheets on the sofa bed. Kids pulled it from the wall and there was donuts, noodles and a marijuana pen back there. The bed smelled like urine as well as someone else drink in the fridge. In the other room both beds had dirty sheets and the tv stand had what looked like dried up ice cream (I hope) 😩 The walls were incredibly filthy like they have never been wiped down and possible mold. The guy at the front desk offered to come clean the rooms and said give him 10 minutes and he would be there. We waited 30 and no one still had not showed up so we checked out. We did not receive a call from the manager or anyone to even try and rectify. I have pictures of everything I mentioned above.

Tv didn’t work- the worker never came up when we called to see if they can get it fixed and the staff was rude

Room had previous guest trash in it, ac leaked, toilet leaked, heater didnt work great , shower leaked and the shower floor matt was extremely dirty and gross covering a gaint hole that our shower water went thru better then the drain

First I want to say the staff was great had no issues, but the cleanliness and the condition of the hotel could’ve been way better. Honestly the hotel needs a complete renovation it had the potential to be very amazing. The pool and the hot tub are was good
