"This historic plantation felt more like a family compound than a hotel. Many lovely verandas to have a drink and learn more about the history of the island. Several themed dinner events through the week. Lots of monkeys too! "

The staff is beyond friendly and let me tell you, it's been a LONG time since the management and owner took the time to greet us and check in with us just the right amount of times. "Absolutely wonderful. This property is beautifully kept, the furnishings newly redone and everything simply elegant. Our room was large and clean; nothing fancy but super comfortable with a private terrace and lovely view down to the ocean. The hotel's separate beach property was a great addition - allowing you to have a access to a private beach with a bar and shade and shelter if you want it. But the most amazing was the staff. "Visited for the sugar mad carnival season. Location was walking distance to the downtown area where most of the festivities happened. Room was nice and cozy had microwave and fridge and the property had a communal kitchen. If hotel staff is not on site, they are very quick and responsive via cell phone call or what’s app. Will def visit again and stay here ! "

"It is an old hotel but they keep it clean and well maintain. We had our own chef for breakfast and dinner. We had our own private beach. Best vacation ever. "
