Nice hotel

Hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Area has shopping and restaurants. Room was unavailable at 3pm chrck in time but was not an issue. Stored bag in luggage area. It is not secure so may be an issue for some people. Hotel is converted jail so has a variety of rooms.i stayed in one of the Japanese themed rooms which was spacious and comfortable.with a full bathroom. My one complaint was the internet connection was very poor. Breakfast can be purchased but I did not try it. Staff were very nice. There is a Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel which was good but no sushi.

Nice cute interior. Everything in walking distance. Compact size room by American standards but generous by European standards. Front desk staff was very helpful for directions and other tips and highly welcoming. Only one thing will make it perfect, good signage for Hotel name in the street. Despite of that, I give 5 stars.

Love this place. The hotel is in the Old Town which is closed and it is located inside the building which was a prison long time ago (make it more interesting to stay). The cobblestone roads surrounding area are beautiful to walking but not so great for the luggage so travel light is better. It is very closed to restaurants, shops, and train station. Soul Chicken restaurant nearby has the very delicious chicken. The room is cute, clean, and offer free water and sparkling water. I will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Our room was not for us. Lucerne is a beautiful expensive city and our room had untreated plywood for a headboard and a square ledge for your luggage. The carpet I’m not sure what it was made from but it was so hard on your feet you had to wear shoes

Great stay, Arigatou gozaimasu

Our stay at Nozomi was excellent. We wished we had stayed longer. Its location (right on the edge of the old town and short walk to/from the train station), price, and comfort could not be beat. The staff (Raj) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!! Loved the coffee/espresso/latte machine. The room had adequate AC. You could open the window and hear the old town or close the windows and you'd have silence. Pros: location, price, very clean, new decor, great staff, awesome breakfast, A/C, able to get ice from the restaurant downstairs, Cons (no major ones): pillows were too fat (need a second slightly softer/thinner set), the carpet was a bit odd it felt like burlap, Nozomi is part of Barabas (which is the jail hotel so you're part of that hotel but rooms in Nozomi are normal rooms), and breakfast juice was kind of hidden.
