Stayed at this resort for 4 nights while biking in the Vermont area. At check I had reserved a condo without ac but it was in the 90’s and the person checking me in offered to move me to the Inn which had same room set up with Kitchen etc and AC - That was Great!!! After morning riding my husband spent a few hours working while I enjoyed the fitness center as well as indoor and outdoor pools. Very few people here during June.

Great room, clean, roomy. Just wish the booking explained that pool and jacuzzi were not on site and we'd have to go to another hotel to use it. We ended up not even going to the pool because of this.

The full kitchen was a plus. No hot water at all. TV in bedroom did not work unable to control temperature. Heard noise all night of people walking across the floor. Customer service terrible. Would not recommend to anyone unless your young and want to party all night.

Loved this unit! Clean, cozy and right off the trails. My two children had a wonderful time. Thank you for the experience! Okemo is a fantastic, family friendly mountain.

Picturesque

Kettlebrook was a great condo for our fall trip to Vermont. Very cozy, we had the fireplace going every night. Back deck leads out to pond and maple trees, very picturesque. Bring dvds if you want to watch tv in bedroom, cable was not working. We would definitely stay again!

The condo was extremely convenient. It was right on Kettlebrook Trail, ski in ski out. We will be returning next season.

Poor communication and listing

Really no communication, no response to message sent in VRBO. No information provided on check in. Photos and listing very misleading. The unit was ok, dated, but ok. Check in and cleaning the unit are serviced by Okemo, and that was ok. For those that booked a property from this group (uses an Okemo name, but it not Okemo), you check in at Okemo. We figured that out our selves.

Ski on ski off is always a treat! The property was fine, just a little outdated. When we checked in we just had to sign a form saying we had quarantined. I asked if they needed to see our Covid test results and they were surprised we had them. Guess they are not being as careful as the state says.

Absolute House of Horrors

Horrendous experience. Absolutely misrepresented in the listing. It is not ski in / ski out, it is not a condo, the pictures in this ad are not of the actually property. We never heard from the Property Manager as to check in process. We had to hunt them down AND it is still unclear to us who the Property Manager. Comforters we’re filthy, there were mouse droppings in the pullout sofa. Absolutely disgusting. Then there was a toilet issue. We had 3 different plumbers working on the toilet for 7 hours to no avail. The water had to be shut off and and we had to move locations. We have asked for a full refund and are getting the absolute run around from VRBO.

TOTAL DISASTER

What a complete mess. From the time we spent finding out how to check in because of the lack of communication, to the TOTAL miss advertising about the property, to the condition of the property HORRIBLE!! As soon as we walked in my sons started to have an allergic reaction do to the cigarette smell and presence of animal dander not to mention window screens on the floor, bathroom fans inoperable and water not even on, to name a few. Luckily the folks at Jackson Gore check in where able to get use other accommodations. A true ski in ski out suite. Thank You so much!! They saved our trip! I've used Vrbo in the past for other trips and had success but this is an embarrassment. I may never use there services again. Oh Ya one more thing don't let the pictures fool you like it did to me.

Trailside Condos

The size and location of the condo ended up being great, however it was not the complex shown in the picture on the listing and the communication prior to check in was terrible. No response to several emails/texts. I was able to speak with someone at VRBO who explained that the listing was through Expedia (which was nowhere in the listing info). I googled a phone number for the property management company and after several redirects and an hour in the phone, I spoke with someone who explained check in procedures. Ultimately, we had the number of beds we needed and in a good location, but not knowing details until we arrived was very stressful.

The check-in process was messy

The Okemo lodging office told me they didn't list anything through VRBO and told me I was in the wrong location and they didn't have a rental for me. Will no cell service in the area it was difficult to contact anyone. Eventually we got through to an agent we mentioned we had actually booked through expedia, which wasn't explained anywhere along the booking process. When we returned to the Okema lodging office they looked up our reservation by name, which they had refused to do the first time, and found us. Why weren't we sent more detailed instructions on check-in or an indication that our reservation had been resold through expedia? That would have saved a lot of stress on the check-in.
