Upon arrival to the hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were the best part of the trip. However, the room conditions and amenities that were offered is what makes this stay so terrible for my family and I. To start they had no maintenance staff on duty, so any issues would have to wait until the next day to be addressed; which there was numerous issues. The toilet was not working in the room when we arrived; which I fixed that issue. The A/C unit was barely blowing any air and never cooled the room down; despite the staff saying it was operating as it should. The refrigerator was not working, which they did replace, but did us no good on the first night as we had no way of keeping anything cold in the room. The beds in the room were heavily used and no comforters on the bed; just sheets. The outdoor pool was completely drained and being overhauled, okay beginning of March, but my daughter still wanted an opportunity to swim. Plus, it was still listed as an amenity at this hotel when clearly it was not functional. Not the biggest deal being just March, but it was quite warm that weekend, so you never know if swimming was an option or not. The keycards keep deactivating themselves and we spent every couple of hours at the main desk in the lobby getting the cards reactivated. So much more to discuss, but I am out of characters in this review. It would be great if someone would contact me.
