"Over all it’s a nice place to stay. On the downside space heaters, no coffee in room, hot water adjustments were backwards. It lacked amenities , but it’s historic and fun."

"Very friendly staff, they were great about giving us information on the uniqueness of the inn. Room was clean and very comfortable. The inn has some dating but very rustic, old school type of vibe. Lots of history, especially famous Hollywood and prohibition era history. Comfortable common areas with a huge fireplace. Amazing views, central to downtown, easy access and plenty of parking."

"Love their location, very close to Tesla super chargers. The office has a hanging carpet/blanket of American flag, made by the hotel hostess mother 50 years ago for US bicentennial celebration. Very beautiful."

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Their warm hospitality really adds to the experience. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with character and a great downtown location, the Bodie Motel is a wonderful choice!"

"A couple points: I smelled a bit too much perfume applied when I first opened the door. The filler in the window holding the exhaust hose of the portable air cooler prevents window from getting fully closed at night. I didn’t find a room heater."

"A very cozy pet friendly room. It was clean and the staff was super nice. I enjoyed it very much.! I accidentally left my bed pillow and they kept it for me and I went back the next day to get it! Very cool! Rate A+!"

"The place is very central close to everything with the shops and restaurants, right on the June Lake loop very convenient. The staff is helpful and nice. I liked the full kitchen with is good for cooking if you don't want to eat out. The bed is very comfy and the area is quiet. The only drawback is the "auto light shut-off" in the bathroom is not quite convenient because it can get dark (meaning light got shutdown automatically without warning) while you're in the bathroom using the shower :-( Overall, I would stay here again and recommend to everyone."
