"We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. What really stood out was the staff—everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and added to an already enjoyable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

Friendly staff, nice brekkie & recommended if you are visiting the area & don’t want to be in the middle of it all but still easily accessible if you want to go into either place. Very nice!"

"The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink...

The owners are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area and the staff were really lovely. The house is beautifully preserved through time and retains its original features, which have been lovingly maintained. The rooms overlook a picturesque countryside and exude a peaceful atmosphere. "We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Nice B&b , lugging heavy suitcases up stairs is a problem. They need a luggage elevator. Food and bar great. No ac and fan a bit noisy and old. Good parking ."

The wash basin was inconveniently small and we were unable to get hot water out of the tap ; we ran it for a long time but it remained stubbornly cold!
