"We were upgraded to a panoramic view room at no additional charge. The view was amazing. The room was clean and the floor was quiet. We were close to everything you could possibly need. We only stayed one night to board our cruise the next day. We would stay here again if we come back and visit Vancouver."

I paid over $480 CAD for a room specifically advertised as having a patio with a water view, but the room I was initially assigned was unacceptable for that price point. The bathroom door would not even close properly, and the “patio” view was nothing like what was advertised. "Beware the area is very confronting! Heavy drug use everywhere! You do not feel safe in the area at all! The staff barely speak English . The check-in process is very clunky, especially when having to use Google Translate to communicate. 2 nights not good value at all . The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the linen and towels are fresh and new. Better to stay in a hotel, not in that area of gastown. Vancouver needs to clean up their drug problem."
