"A wonderful place to stay in Ilfracombe. Lorraine and Adrian were excellent hosts and very welcoming. My room and ensuite were great, with a view down over the town and towards the sea. Spotlessly clean. There is a new terrace area for seating outside and they have retained the Honesty Bar downstairs with a range of beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks. The breakfast area opens out on to the terrace and the Breakfast menu is truly amazing with a massive choice and ALL dietary needs catered for....

"Three things you need to run a great Bed and Breakfast. 1. A great host. 2. A great bed and room. 3. A great breakfast. This place has all three and is the perfect place for a short stay in Ilfracombe. Definitely recommended."

"Staff were very friendly the room was cleaned every day and it was a nice size room as well. Breakfast was lovely and you had a choice of what to have (Full English breakfast was plenty and lovely) I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in staying at Ilfracombe."

"I stayed at Exmoor House on Saturday night ahead of my 70.3 triathlon at Wimbleball lake and Izzy and her partner were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating at check-in and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for race day. They even arranged an early breakfast for me at 5am so I could properly fuel before the race, which was hugely appreciated. After the race, they were just as fantastic. They kindly let me and my friend come back...

"Shower was great (if small) and the homemade shortbread was a nice little touch my son enjoyed as part of his breakfast. The breakfasts were also really good. They were very flexible on items on the full English and the ingredients were good quality with proper sausages, thick bacon and thick slices of good bread. The two women working there were great and the service was excellent though. They told another guest they only took it on last year and are doing it up but they need to either do it...
