"Amazing hotel with an unbeatable location. The service was brilliant with Sebastian and John being so welcoming on arrival at the train station and helpful on departure including assisting me with gifts from the market. I was unexpectedly provided with free champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast experience on the terrace with the sound of the waterfalls and a clear view of Machu Picchu was a once in a lifetime experience."

"Such an inviting jungle like retreat! A staff member met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. The superior suite room was wonderful, especially with the natural hot springs hot tub! Would have liked a little more attention advertised as special services that go along with the room choice. Food was bountiful and tasty! Staff very attentive in the dining room!"

"Tierra viva was probably my favorite hotel in our 12 night honeymoon- i cant recommend it enough. Book room 504 (junior suite), trust me! It has a large balcony overlooking the urabamba river, with a view both up and down the river. Staff met us at the train station, which i didnt expect, but allowed us to ditch our bags and get to our tour on time. Staff also drew maps for me, gave us drinks and let us check out late. "Property has a wonderful view of the river and polite and helpful staff. We only had a minor issue with the towels for our room were very damp and when we requested replacements, those were damp also. This could just have been a one off situation. The Mountain view faces the train tracks and new construction that is underway on the other side of the tracks so try and book River view if it’s available. "

"マチュピチュ駅の近くにある、ということで宿泊しましたが、私や多くの方が利用するインカレールの駅からは少し離れています。 駅からの距離を理由に宿泊するのであれば、注意が必要です。 一方、マチュピチュ村自体がコンパクトなこともありますが、不便な立地というわけではありません。遺跡へ向かうバス停も歩いて2-3分程度です。 シャワーもしっかりお湯が出ますし、チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってもらえ、かつ列車の時間までフロントでお茶を飲みながら待たせてもらえました。総じて、選んで損するわけではありません。"
