"Nice hotel with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a variety of options and was tasty. The room was clean and spacious with a large bed. Nice hot shower with strong water pressure. Great location, close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu and options to eat. Only troubles: there was construction going on right in front of the hotel, so if your room is facing that direction you will hear the noise during the day. Also the windows aren’t soundproof so you can hear everyone...

"This, by far, was the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at. Chairs scraping on hard floors, every footstep on the open staircase, loud music, carrying voices, slamming doors. Just the worst. The room did not in the slightest look like the pictures. It was a stuffy, tiny room with no window to outside; rather, it opened to some kind of shaft that allowed no fresh air. I paid about US$90/night, which is a little higher than other local hotels. On the bright side, the restaurant was excellent and...
