Great stay! So close to masjid, excellent breakfast, immaculately clean property despite ongoing renovations. Excellent experience during check in. Special shout out to Fahad for the friendly face and service every morning at breakfast during our stay!

We have stayed at Intercontinental for a short stay, but it was a great stay. The Hotel location is just few steps from the Haram. Room size are big enough to relax, and fully serviced. Hotel staff were helpful, and kind enough to accept our early check in. Special thanks for Fahad Khan who served us during breakfast, he was kind, helpful and professional.

This hotel is nothing like the pictures, they are very deceiving. The rooms are smelly, the bathrooms are broken and very outdated. This is far from the “intercontinental” standards. I felt like staying in a 3 star hotel. We ordered room service and the food got us sick. Very pricey. DO NOT Stay here. Pick another hotel

I stayed here from the dates of October 25-October 30th. When I first got in my room I had a few issues, which the young boy in reception didn’t do much about. But later in the morning I complained again, and Khaled and the manager Badr, we’re so so so amazing. They immediately helped us and resolved our concerns. I am so thankful to them, as we were able to enjoy our stay once they were able to change our room and make our stay enjoyable. I want to add that the housekeeping team on our floor was also amazing and hospitable. Overall, we had a great time at this hotel. It is so close to Prophets Masjid, literally seconds away from the hotel. Very close to shopping and food. My only recommendation for the hotel is to have upgraded air quality systems. I found the air quality to be low and dusty. And maybe it’s time to change the furniture. It could probably help with the air quality as well. Anyway, thank you Khaled and Badr for my stay.

So far the 2 hotels we stayed at Fairmont in Mecca and Intercontinental in Madinah we excellent! Everyone is friendly and accommodating. The free breakfasts were amazing. The most comfortable beds and pillows. Saudi coffee and dates every afternoon. It's amazing!

Hi this hotel is a truly beautiful place to stay from entrance the beautiful smell same smell as Makkah intercontinental rooms are very clean the breakfast was awesome the supervisor emad fallata is an amazing gentleman well presented extremely polite and during my breakfast he has ensured I enjoy my experience by making sure everything was ok all the staffs are extremely polite reception always smiling and friendly all the staffs are well presented house keeping supervisor zahraa is well mannered all our request have been arranged straight away zahraa ensured our stay was unforgettable it’s very near to the haram right opposite gate 329 thank you for your great hospitality see you soon

Overall it is an ok hotel. Expensive due to its location, otherwise the price is not worth such high rate. Elevators are too few and very small. Also, they had charged me about $200 for breakfast for the next 2 days on the day when I had checked in. I cancelled that immediately and they assured me that the amount will be refunded to my card but it has not been. Not a good practice by a hotel who charge the guests for the service they don’t use. I will not stay here again.

Excellent staff and Concierge. The hotel is a great location. The breakfast buffet was incredible! Best we had on the trip. The hotel room does not have any walk in shower, that is, only tubs with showers. So if you have mobility issues like I did for my mom, this was a problem. She was not able to get in and out of the bathtub easily.
