"The hotel is one of the nicer hotels I have stayed at. However, it is showing its age. The door handle was sticking making it difficult to enter and exit. The furniture and bathroom have seen better days. Overall, though, the service and amenities in the Governor’s Club almost made up for the aging room. "

"Hampton Inn Madison East is a very nice hotel. Convenient to downtown, but far enough away. Easy drive to State Street, UW Campus and the Capital. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The entire property was clean and smelled good. The room was very spacious with plenty of counter and drawer space for multiple people. The beds, including the pullout sofa bed, were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are already planning a return trip."
