"Mason and Liota (front desk) were both welcoming and helpful! Hotel has a nice sauna and hot tubs. Delicious full breakfast!!! There are free bikes to use for trails that are connected near hotel. Room is a little small and walls are thin, but no complaints since hotel is economically priced and has great amenities."

"Just be careful about the added fees for tennis. It is not clear on their website that they charge $81.00 for indoor court time. I specifically asked to play outdoors and they directed me to pay more without letting me know the cost up front. The rooms are a little tired (I stayed in the Executive King) and need some updated, but the resort has a nice pool area and hot tub and the free coffee in the morning is a nice touch."

"Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. "

"The hotel was so cozy and welcoming. Clean, nice staff, food/bar, hot tub, outdoor pool, scenic views, etc. It is close to all the stores and restaurants, Stowe rec trail is right behind it through the backyard. Will definitely stay here again in one of the cabins when we come back."

"Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Room was newly renovated, thoughtfully furnished with modern touches like multi USB charging port, enough towel racks in the bathroom. "Smugglers Notch Inn is a charming place in northern Vermont. Just off of Route 15. Part of the property is 200 years old, the other part is more than 100 years old. Everything is beautifully appointed, the staff is very helpful, and there's a hot, made to order breakfast each morning. We would come here again."

"The location is nice. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant onsite. Coffee and tea are available in the room. A continental breakfast in the lodge would be a nice addition. Even if they brought in bagels, muffins and toast. Also, they were renovating the mens lockeroom so that wasn't available, the hot tub wasn't really hot, and the sauna wasn't working. No USB ports in the rooms. "

"We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was awesome! The room was modern and very cozy. The hotel was located in the middle of Stowe, Vermont so finding a good place to eat isn't hard to find. The fire pit outside along with the hot tub and sauna were also amazing. Overall, we would definitely comeback to a future trip in Stowe. On the side note, the breakfast spread is so good, just hits like home! "

"1st room was musty, cobwebs, wallpaper peeling off. Bathroom- tiles on floor were coming up and wallpaper peeling off wall. Air conditioner broken in our room. Hotel was mad that they had to move us after offering us the housekeeper's fan to borrow. Couldnt even open the windows as the screen for the windows were down on the ground outside.
