"Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. "

"Great property. The beds could have been a little more comfortable (we felt like the mattresses in our first room were very saggy) but they moved us to another room upon request which was better. Very helpful staff, hotel was centrally located to nearby hiking and other activities. All in all we had a great time!"

The Inn is right in the middle of Stowe and everything was very walkable. The staff was helpful in providing any information we needed for our stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond helping us with a little hiccup. We were given an upgrade and stayed in Cottage Suite 1. It was amazing, spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great location, near a walking trail, just behind the movie theater across the street and near plenty of restaurants."

"Room was so small not as shown in the picture. Sink was outside the Bathroom. Who does that? No brake fast. Only some snacks. There was a big building but gave us the room adjesent to it in a small structure looks like a cheap motel with 4 to 5 rooms. Will never go or recommend anyone."

"Wir hatten die Einheit 7 (The Lounge), es war wunderschön und liebevoll vorbereitet für uns. Es war alles da, was man braucht, auch zum Kochen. DAs Haus ist an der Hauptstraße gelegen, mit Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Die Geschäfte schließen um 5 pm (im Mai). In der Umgebung kann man auch viele Aktivitäten machen. Wir können das Butler House wärmstens empfehlen."

"We are currently on a 5,000 mile road trip through New England- a ‘bucket list’ trip we’ve been planning for years- with lodging varying from Wyndham to Hilton’s and others in between. "Would highly recommend AWOL. Excellent location walkable from the village, but also far enough to feel like you are in your own retreat. We stayed in the lodge and the room was very nice—good bed, TV, bathroom, amenities. The breakfast is terriific and much better than the standard free continental breakfast. It was rainy so didn’t use the hot tubs, hammock, etc. but it was all there."
