Hotel is in a great location and rooms are pretty big for Europe. Bathroom has nice closed shower. Front desk was so nice to us. Only issue was that the shower did not drain properly and toilet seat kept closing on my back. Also no safes in room. But enjoyed the stay and location was awesome. Great value for price!

Shower head leaking everywhere, needs to be replaced. Shower enclosure also leaked over the bathroom floor. Couldn't adjust the air con temperature. Staff collected all my details at check in telling me it was for the "police" only for them to then spam me with WhatsApp messages later trying to sell me tickets to shows.

Great place to stay

Given this is a two star hotel in the centre of Madrid it was excellent, all rooms are decorated differently based on shows just made it a great place to stay. We will be going back next year

This hotel was a fantastic option for our family of 4. Our room had a beautiful little balcony and view of rooftops. The staff was friendly, breakfast was nice, bathrooms were very clean. I’d stay in our room again anytime!

Fantastic place! What a great location we did find our room dark and the bathroom fixtures were very lose everything worked but the bathroom needs to be painted and fixtures tightened. We would stay great again in a heartbeat as staff breakfast and location were great!

Great staff and location, but thin walls!

It is superbly located and the staff is so sweet and helpful. The hotel has lots of character but the walls were thin and the noise will disturb most people's sleep. I could hear their loud conversation at night and in the morning.

Great hotel concept; terrible bed

Wonderful welcome at check-in, Ammar was very joyful. The hotel room was clean, well decorated, had a great hot water pressure shower and the toiletries were of a great brand. However, the bed was very saggy and we were not able to get a restful night's sleep because of it. The only thing letting this hotel down, which of course is the main priority when choosing an accommodation. Luckily we were only staying for one night.

Absolutely loved the location as it is a safe & walkable area. The popular plazas, plaza del sol is a 2 minute walk. The breakfast was great - from pastries, meats, & cheese as well as assorted drinks. Our balcony had a view of the Christmas tree at plaza del sol & we were able to see the fireworks as well. Overall, staff was great & it was a great stay. Staff spoke English & was very eager & helpful in every way possible. The only thing I didn't like were the winding stairs; however, that kind of structure is normal in Spain. There was also a lot of noise at night on a Friday night, but that's normal.

Not the best place for the money.

Great location, desk staff friendly, rooms are aged, ac does not work well at all, cleaning service only makes up room, not enough soap provided. Just lacks overall. I would call this a two star out of five us rating.
