Soho Boutique Opera was easily our favourite hotel of the entire two-week trip through Spain. The location was excellent for exploring Madrid, but the hotel itself was also a genuinely comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Our room was spacious enough for two people to comfortably unpack and move around, and the bathroom was similarly well-sized. The air conditioning was efficient and worked well throughout our stay, which made a big difference. The light-blocking blinds were also excellent—some of the best we encountered on the entire trip. We appreciated that the mini-fridge was reasonably priced as well, rather than having the usual excessive hotel markup. The main drawbacks were the check-in process, which could take some time if a larger group was arriving at the same time, and the breakfast. We didn't feel the breakfast was worth the additional cost given what was offered. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would absolutely choose Soho Boutique Opera again when visiting Madrid. For us, it was the standout hotel of the trip.

Great location close to Grand Via and the metro. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and although there were lots of activities going on in nearby areas, the hotel was extremely quiet. Would definitely stay again!
