"Our third stay at abode Chester and have to say there was a change in the quality of service from the reception staff and the breakfast staff from our previous last two stays! As we have done before once settled in room called reception and asked for some ice to be sent up to the room, but this time we were told we had to call the bar on level 5. Day one breakfast was excellent. The second day was not good at all. The waitress delivered the drinks with no milk and by the time we got it the drinks were cold. The food order was wrong asked for no mushroom and fried egg cooked on both sides. Came with mushroom and egg was snotty.the breakfast was returned and even after requesting no mushroom for the second time it returned with the mushroom. She also slammed everything down on the table! It was as if she did not want to be there and her top had a big stain down it. The bar staff were excellent. We eat out both nights on our return the receptionist had her head in her hands as if she was asleep! Been a big change in staff not good. "

"If I could remember the names of the duty staff, I would individually name and praise them. I discovered a number of defects in our assigned room; (408) and reported them at breakfast. they were all remedied before we had finished our meal! We could not have asked for more supportive and friendly staff."
