"Our room was excellent. Spacious, stylishly decorated, well furnished and had a good view across the marina. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had everything needed. The bed was large and comfortable. Overall an excellent room and fantastic value for money. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the food quality was excellent. Easy on street parking nearby. Definitely a hotel that can be recommended."

"This was the perfect hotel to get over jetlag and start exploring Belfast. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice and included a buffet as well as eggs to order. I appreciated that the hotel provided parking, and the location was incredible. This hotel was a very good value for the price. The Tara Lodge exceeded my expectations and was an excellent start to a wonderful holiday in Ireland. I would definitely stay here again given the chance. "

"What an amazing place. Very quaint building. Was made to feel like we were at home the moment we walked in. Steve is an amazing manager and made us smile and laugh as soon as we walked in. "20 mins walk to the city centre..The area where this is located is so run down and this building is one of the few which is not boarded off ,but there is a Holidayinn just opposite. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There was not much noise even with close proximity to the main road..The bathroom was not as clean with @#£/ stains on the wall and my bad luck decided to take the toilet brush to clean the toilet. It was so dirty and the sight haunted me for a couple of...

"Pros - close to many sights, restaurants, and things to do in Belfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cons - Waring St is extremely noisy. I stayed at this hotel Thursday to Monday, and each night, including Sunday night, I had to wear my noise-canceling AirPods to bed in order to sleep. You will hear yelling, carrying on, and also music if your room faces Waring Street (main entrance to hotel) like my room did. The interior of the hotel is quiet enough but the street noise was intolerable....

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was central but that's where the good ended. The sheets and room could have been much cleaner. And there weren't photos of the washroom to know beforehand that the shower was literally in the room and the toilet was essentially a stall. Overall you get what you pay for "
