"My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area."

"The home was like staying at grandma’s house, complete with dust bunnies and spider webs. It’s a cute home in a great location to explore Acadia. We watched deer from the porch. It was a fantastic stay in that regard. RedAwning … a different story. They got our check in date wrong, so we could not get into the property until almost midnight. "The house was very clean and views of the lake were beautiful. However, there was only a washer and no dryer. The shower head was awful which caused half of the body to freeze while showering. The bed in the master bedroom is beyond awful. The mattress is sinking in the middle and the bed creaks with the slightest of movement. When i tried to blowdry my hair, the smoke alarm went off. I would not stay here again!!!"
