"The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the 24 hour front desk! It really helped in our Paris adventures. They wrote a sweet note for our arrival. The stairs are cute, and the elevator was great for both of us and our luggage. The hotel was within walking distance of Notre Dame and other attractions, but most importantly close to the bar where we played board games with friends. We had a great time in Paris!"

Place des Vosges is an extraordinary oasis, with a beautiful park square and several cafes and restaurants, plus high end shops. Pavilion de la Reine is the JEWEL of Place des Vosges, an oasis in an oasis. It is quiet and restful, the staff, who are numerous, are extremely courteous, speak perfect English, and are numerous. "We stayed only one night, and I'm sorry we didn't stay longer. The hotel is centrally located, walkable from the Gare de Lyon. We found the hotel staff very cordial and helpful. The room was air conditioned, clean and designed so that two people could get ready in the morning at the same time (e.g., no mirror sharing). The only minor drawback was that the hair dryer needed to be updated with a more powerful unit."

"This hotel is in a great, central location. Beyond that there’s not much to recommend. The room is tiny. The toilet seats are very uncomfortable. The shower is unwieldy. The breakfast is lame and not worth it, especially since feet away you have wonderful cafes with much better fare for less money. Most of the staff was nice but some were unnecessarily testy."

"My stay was lovely. Clean, safe and conveniently located near many restaurants and shops in the lower Marais. Staff is on 24/7. My only complaint is that they offer afternoon/evening beverages and many of them were not available. Over all - highly recommend."
