"My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay Mango Sunset and would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Big Island. Great location, very nice beach that they clean every morning, beautiful pool, beach towels you can exchange for clean ones as needed, and much more. If you don’t want the expensive buffet breakfast, King’s coffee shop has excellent coffees and breakfast choices and it is located on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again! I would definitely come back to this building if I return to the Kona side. What i didn't like were the bugs that are all over the place. Specially at night. Other than that. "We loved the proximity to the Kona area. The manta experience was amazing. There was snorkeling, national parks, and state parks nearby that were beautiful. It was a great place to base camp. We went and did our exploring and then came back and relaxed in the pool, hot tub, and voyager 47."

"The driveway was rough. Poor condition. No sign with the apartment address visible. No AC which we knew going in. But mid- morning, no brees to keep the room cool. The apartment was locked in behind housing not letting ocean winds to flow in.So you set and sweated or sit infront of a fan to cool down. Kitchenette was small with a lavatory sink bathroom sink to do dishes. Shower & tub water ran to hot or to cold hard to adjust a solid setting. Stairs to climb in you have luggage. TV was terrible,...

"The pool and lagoon were great for younger kids. The only thing I would recommend is to lengthen the hours of the pool eatery and bar. Closing at 5:00 PM is a little early for summer time."
