"At the time of the booking, I was told that breakfast was complimentary with the booking rate. When my parents checked in they were asked to pay for breakfast, why do you charge when it’s already paid for - seems like a scam."

"The front desk staff when I checked in took 700 rupees from me as he said I didn't mention 4 people but only 3. But I booked 2 rooms and both rooms where the same amount, the room with 2 person was the same as the room with 1 person. I would have been okay if he gave me a receipt for the extra 700 he took from me, but now what I am thinking is that he took that money for himself. "I would strongly advise against staying here. The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not match the photos online at all. The pillow had a visible blood stain, and the single towel provided was ripped down the middle. The overall cleanliness was extremely poor, to the point where I did not feel comfortable staying. I checked out after only a few hours. The listing photos are very misleading, and this was a deeply disappointing experience."

"Vivanta Kochi is a newly built hotel, just outside the city limits of Aluva. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I was visiting my parents who currently live in Aluva. As this hotel is only six months old, everything is new and shiny. I loved my room as it was very large and luxurious for what I paid ($46 per night). The room has all the amenities like tea, coffee, soap, shampoo etc. It was would have been nice if the mini fridge was functional. I was woken up occasionally by the noise from the...

"Staff was very supportive. But the room was not having any ameneties like AC, hotwater etc. When enquired they told its the issue with Expedia. The room was not clean. Felt very uncomfortable. Will never opt for this facility again."
