"We were moving my mother’s belongings for her in a U-Haul, but decided to take a scenic route through the eastern Sierras and have a couple of nice stays on the way. When I pulled up in front to check in, the bell hop seemed annoyed, even condescending that we had pulled up in a U-Haul. He rather snidely informed us that there was no parking for over-sized vehicles, and then directed me to move it to their loading dock doors (the vehicle was not blocking the driveway in front of the hotel). "Location is great. Our room was large, but a bit dated. The TV was not working on our 1st night and someone came, late at night, to fix it which was appreciated. Despite a 10pm hot tub quiet time, people were still in it long after that. Since our room was right next to the hot tub, it was loud."

"Very poor stay. Luke warm water at best in the shower, also very confusing to find where the hot water even was. Room had trash left in it. TV remote wouldn’t work, tried 5 different remotes through the front desk, none of them worked. The they moved us rooms. The new rooms had hot water but also, so hard to find where it gets hot. Next morning the breakfast was supposed to be at 6:30 but the woman didn’t show. They offered 20$ refund but I haven’t gotten it yet. Nobody was rude or anything but...

"Friendly staff. The pool room upstairs is a nice touch. It’s close to so many things. Brewery 2 minute walk- massage place right next door and a killer breakfast spot right across the street. Nice views from the rooms too."

"The location was prime! Lots of restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance and a short drive to the mountain. We enjoyed our updated room at the Sierra House. It seems some things are still under construction as the building was very new but that didn't bother us a bit. The steam and sauna are slightly outdated but again that doesn't matter to us. We really enjoyed our stay!"
