"This hotel is amazing! Beautifully setup inside and takes you back in time a little. Rooms are well kept and updated. Everything is clean and (this sounds so strange) it smells wonderful. They really take care of their spaces so well. The location is perfect. Right next to Salem Commons and across the street from all of the quirky shopping spaces. "we absolutely loved this place. it's in the middle of being renovated, and even though we stayed in one of the older rooms, it was still updated, clean and super spacious. we were in town off-season, and it's about a mile walk to downtown salem. the walk is pretty easy, maybe two streets depending on where you're headed, and felt safe at night as well. i can see this being a great option for peak-season as it's a bit further out, but still easily walkable, and a great way to avoid having to...
