"This was our second time staying here and my family and I love this hotel. Having a room with a balcony, especially one that over looks the pool makes this hotel seem like a little oasis. What also makes it more so like an oasis is the landscaping and all sound the courtyard and pool area. C by b"

"The difficult issue is cell phone service, which is the main form of contact for the office, but we absolutely love this place and this will be a forever go to spot for us! Quiet, cozy, Victorian, hardwood floors. Beautiful rooms. Wonderful short distance to Mendocino. Just love it!!!"

"The hotel is located on a hill, overlooking a wharf and the ocean---a magnificent view! The staff was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating---several lovely conversations. The complementary breakfast is modest and continental in style. However, there is a nice, but limited, breakfast made-to-order menu which was done very well. The dinner menu is similarly limited, but the choices are nicely cooked and served. The room featured a hot tub, as well as the usual shower, and a balcony had a great view of the wharf and ocean. Since the hotel is on a hill, the driveway is somewhat steep---some may have trouble walking down to the water, but it's a 1-minute drive to parking by the beach. Also, walking from one unit of the hotel to another may involve some ups and downs. A cafe and a couple restaurants are available down the hill. Rooms are labeled as "peaceful and romantic", and that seems a fine description. The city of Point Arena and nearby area are isolated near the coast, but that makes the hotel a great place to unwind and enjoy the scenery."
